ESPN.com: Page 2 - Why our teams are embarrassing
I find it amazing how he rips the Ryder Cup team, and America's attitude towards...teamwork? selfishness? life? it's hard to tell. Anyways, he does that a month after being livid over people doing the same to our Olympic basketball team.
Of course, to criticize the Olympic basketball team is to be racist. But to criticize white golfers (and Tiger) is to be combating the negative tendencies of American culture at large!!
Amazing. Jason Whitlock is a sociologist, and the Ryder Cup is a microcosm of America, but the performance of our nation at basketball, a sport we freakin' invented, is more or less off-limits unless your a white supremacist.
Sorry. I see the point you eventually got around to making, but you went for shock value over substance, and compounded that with this sudden expertise in how America thinks in all sports based on a silly game played by executives.
