Drudge linked to The Sports Guy (of ESPN.com Page 2 fame) for a report that Jacksonville is not ready for the Super Bowl. And it's a good source. Simmons isn't a reporter, per se, but he's on the ground and he's been to enough Super Bowl cities to know what is required.

As he says himself in one of the blog entries, 300 cabs for an entire city, when upwards of 70,000 people will need them?? That's horrible, and while it won't affect the game for viewers at home, it'll certainly impact every aspect for people there.

Anyways, that's cool that Simmons is that newsworthy now.
