Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Alright, here's a Loyola-specific post. Sorry.

Anyways, one of the bigger events on campus, Chordbusters, took place this weekend. It features two nights of singing and skits by the male (Chimes) and female (Belles) acappella groups at Loyola. And as always, it was a good show. I say this honestly, not just because two of my roommates are in Chimes.
The difference between the two very solid performances, as is usually the difference every semester? The Chimes are able to pick more radio-popular and easily recognizable songs, and have more creativity with their skit. The Belles usually always have the better backing sections on songs, but sometimes that means the lead singer is partially drowned out. But it's a worthwhile two hours, even if this semester's after-parties were dismal by normal Chordbusters standards.
Of course, my roommates were fantastic, as always.
