Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Well, I'm at my pre-internship workshop with the Dow Jones Internship Fund. The University of Missouri journalism school (oldest in the nation), led by Professor Bill Brooks, have run one of the workshops for a good long time now. The campus is very large, beautiful, and it possesses an awesome little college town -- even nicer because it is relatively empty in the summer.
So I am here until June 3 hashing and rehashing over the finer points of the English language and American newspaper style. I'll try to take some pictures of the campus and it's beautiful 70-80 degree weather, especially as the Northeast sits in November instead of late May.
