Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Actually, the picture of the castle-looking thing and of the "frank" sign are from Cambridge, not London. Oh well. The picture of sunlight streaming in along the path is from Hyde Park, which was a block north of where I stayed and is where Kensington Palace (Princess Diana's home) is located. That photo was taken at about 7:07 a.m. (the file says 3:07 p.m., so the hours are way off), and it was definitely before 7:30 breakfast.
The Cambridge pictures are: St. John's College in Cambridge, one of the most historic (i.e. they charged to view) colleges at Cambridge University; some sort of woman's clothing store called "frank." Didn't go in, so I didn't find out the origin of the name. All of this, of course, was with Sara; we had considered traveling to Stratford so as to visit our sister town, but it was an hour or so further away than Cambridge.
