Dave comes back with a post that, more or less, talks about "hurricane fatigue" as I am phrasing it. He powerfully relates a Dan Patrick quote about Patrick's own fatigue regarding the hurricane, and parlays that into discussing the reactions vis a vis 9/11 for those near the affected areas.
Worth taking a look.
