Supposedly, he awoke Sunday to see Amani Toomer score the game-winning touchdown. Maybe he didn't actually see that, but it fits right in with the type of owner Mara was -- always caring about the team, but never heavy-handed and making himself bigger than the action. That works well in the NFL. He would know, of course. Most of anything in the league is either due to him or happened with him as an owner.
