And probably not much more than that. It's good news, and I don't think shows that the media overreacted. I think it shows that out of all the federal, state and local agencies, the Coast Guard is easily the best at its job, saving thousands a day during the first two weeks after the storm.
Unless I see something else that convinces me otherwise, they are the reason, above all else, that the death toll is as low as it is.
