Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Overheard at Loyola

An idea that has been begging to be born, like a woman's baby (or fetus?) in the 10th month of pregnancy, ever since Overheard in New York became all the rage. I had a legendary quotes page of my own back in my LC days, but it was so often the dominion of inside jokes and friends deliberately saying things to get on to the page.

This has all the potential for greatness.

EDIT: I should have explained it more. Basically, if you'd looked at Overheard in New York, it encourages people to report quotable things that they hear around NYC. This one is simply staged within the bubble that is Loyola College, inspired by the former site as well as the various quotes pages that people at the school have kept over the last couple years. Also, it's not my site. I wish I had started it four years ago, however.
