Now, the Giants threw this game away in many ways: penalties, not converting some key third downs, and not putting the Seahawks away in the first half. They already should feel badly; this just makes it worse.
These incorrect calls do raise doubt as to the ability of the replay system to actually get the calls correct. However, what should pacify replay (or NFL officiating) critics is that the replay decisions simply affirmed what the referees had already decided. It is far more damaging to overturn a decision incorrectly than it is to get a call wrong and stick to it. In sports, at least.
