Afternoon Baseball

Now here at the minute-wasting corner, we're all about detachment, with the occasional heartfelt entry thrown in to show that we don't have a heart of coal. What makes us detached? Well, for one thing, using that New Yorker "we" instead of "I." Second, it's a little cocktail of snark, irony, aloofness and justified outrage at the little annoyances in life. I, er, we should rename this The Blog of Detachment. It's certainly shorter and easier to Google.

Anyways, it's Thanksgiving, a time for reflection, gratitude, and ignoring your wife and kids to focus on football.
