It's from a few days ago, but since the spring just began in beisbol land, I think it's still fresh.

Chin Music is petrified about Ron Guidry's mantra as pitching coach, which according to the article cited and the commentary given, can be kindly described as a turn-back-the-clock mentality.

I'm hoping it's Guidry just trying to say that he's not going to overrule the instincts of his pitchers, particulary the veterans, and not that Guidry thinks baseball stopped in 1978.
