Afternoon Baseball

I wrote about the upcoming situation between Billy Wagner and Mariano Rivera two months ago in response to a link from Baseball Musings to a column on TheMirl.com about the conflict.
WFAN and most media are going nuts now, which is exactly what the writer predicted. The e-mail thread on baseball I'm part of is having some good discussion, though, so it's worth it for that.

Wagner is off to a good start in the first of the critical two years of his contract. We'll see if this controversy reignites during interleague play.
