That's what stuck out immediately to me when looking at the box score of tonight's 6-5 win over the upstart Marlins. He's also hitting .325 still. All thanks to the Yankees not re-signing Miguel Cairo after the 2004 season (and Tony Womack being Tony Womack).
Anyway, good to see Wang bounce back. He's a damn good pitcher, even if he can't strike anyone out (two tonight). Jorge's bat keeps poppin', and he's back at .300 with his 3-5, 3 RBI night. Mo got another save, Damon extended his on-base streek to 10 appearances, and even A-Rod got three hits after there were questions about his situational hitting (with a great reply from Bum). (For the record, A-Rod, who's been good when the score is tied, awesome when ahead and useless when trailing, went 0-1 with a two-run lead, 1-2 when the lead was 1 run, and 2-2 with an RBI when it was tied. I'll take that line.)
So yeah, a good night for the team on a day when the Red Sox handily won.
