Afternoon Baseball

So I was watching a fairly early episode of "Boy Meets World" -- it's the one where Cory finally starts dating Topanga (the season 3 premiere). The show holds up fairly well so far as even the clothes aren't really terrible. Typical of TGIF, they throw in some stuff under the radar that the kids might not get -- a running gag of the tennis coach getting a sex change, and the teacher, Jonathan, having a black friend not get a job for being "overqualified."
But the interesting thing was that the girl playing Topanga's best friend was 17-year-old Brittany Murphy. That girl is in everything. Also, she's usually horrible in almost everything, and not terribly attractive. Both were the case in this episode, where she managed to make the "Boy Meets World" cast look like "The West Wing" season 1, which should say it all.
