This needs to happen. He can't pitch for the Yankees. Even worse, he may actually deliver a strong start in the first one or two appearances and further sucker the Yankees brass.
So if you seem Ponson out somewhere, especially a bar, fight him. Or have your drunk buddy fight him. You'll be doing a great service to fans everywhere.

On a serious note, he's an awful pitcher, even at the league minimum pro-rated.
