Michelle Wie, an excellent LPGA golfer, was lucky to get heat exhaustion at the John Deere Classic, a PGA Tour event. After all, she shot 6-over without illness the day before.
I don't care if she's 16; she's either not ready or is already displaying classic choker material. Pick one or the other; either way, it says she doesn't belong wasting everyone's time (and a spot in the field) on the PGA Tour. This isn't open for serious debate, really. I'm not knocking her golf abilities; if anything, I'm knocking women playing the sport if they think that their game is the same as the men's. It's not.
You never saw Mia Hamm trying to play with the men, and she was 10 times the soccer player that Wie (or even Sorenstam) is the golfer.
I'd rather hear about stupid Barbaro's leg than this.
