Not all of us get to enjoy this holiday that lost all its real meaning a long time ago. It's turned into the last barbeque holiday, just as Memorial Day is to remember all the barbeques of the past and Fourth of July is an excuse to have a random barbeque in the middle of the week.
Summer's done, though. It's unfortunate.
What's coming up here in the next couple days, assuming I get my act together:
A book review, along with reviews of the "Nip/Tuck" season premiere, "Arrested Development" Season 3 DVD, and "NewsRadio" Season 4 DVD. Oh yeah, some baseball, possibly, with so much going on with the Yanks (A-Rod's "revival," DJ chasing an MVP and batting title, Wang chasing 20 wins, Damon probably chasing women).
