Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Well, very few of my few regulars will probably see this, but if you're looking to talk some baseball, specifically New York baseball, there's a site that one of my old college roommates has started. It's called NYBaseballtalk.com and it features columnists, all the links and info you could want, and a full-fledged message board. What it really needs is people like you and me to delve into the wisecracking, statistic- and trivia-filled, sometimes contentious and sometimes sentimental world that is the New York Yankees and the New York Mets.
The columnists and brains behind the site, I admit, are friends and former co-workers. But they are good, smart fans and that would win me over even if I didn't know them.

Now for the question.
I'm toying with the idea of reviving the ol' blog, with a more limited focus (sigh), mainly of what I loved to chat about before -- baseball, mostly Yankees, and reviews of what I'm watching and occasionally listening to. But mostly baseball, especially in the form of game reactions.
Here's the question? Is it worth it? I work nights, so I'd have to catch up with the games after the fact. Let me know what you think.

Regardless, visit NY Baseball Talk. I think you'll find something to like.

Thanks for reading.
