Listening to Paul O'Neill and Michael Kay talk about Bernie Williams and his not retiring retirement. They hark back to Don Mattingly not officially retiring until 1997 (and could have thrown in Pete Sampras, for a different sport, waiting a year to officially retire).

O'Neill's comment was most interesting: "The more you talk to Bernie, the less you know."

Maybe Bernie could be a spy.
