Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

The Yankees were going to lose at some point. The six wins in a row were sweet, especially since Kyle Farnsworth only pitched in a meaningless situation (his effort last night, for instance), to point out one thing.
Johnny Damon has even been productive, although I don't think it's a contradiction to have Damon in the lineup and Melky Cabrera playing center field.

Not much else to say at the moment. I've been traveling a lot, and the team only decided to lose once I got back. What does that tell you?

Baseball HOF inductions this weekend. Can't get better than that.
