Game 7 of this year's World Series would have been in November. The Colorado Rockies spared us that, so with apologies to Scott Brosius and Luis Gonzalez, let's remember the first November moment of baseball's illustrious past.
But to tie it to the last few years, take this Jeter quote from that night:
"We have always in the past never given up until the final out is made," said Jeter. "We always think we can win."
Is that different nowadays for the Yankees, or at least their fans? Does it matter if a team thinks that way?
